Growing up is hard to do

life changing events

sometimes tough to get through

we think that wer're ready

for whatever may come

but life's not that easy

at least, not for some

curve balls & chaos

nobody knew

though laughter & love

more than a few

the joys & the pain

all a confusion

lines become blurred

like you've got a contusion

stand tall, move forward

strong in your walk

sometimes it's better

to just have a talk

thankful a

& grateful

is how we should be

I'll be there for you

and you for me

there Is real hope

in how we can live

if everyone could see

we just need to forgive

Love yourself 1st

and of course all the others

just as we've been taught

by all the great mothers!
